I've been in the Society for Creative Anachronism for quite a long time, where I am known as Gwyneth ferch Aeddan and have many interests ranging from fencing to singing. I have enjoyed slowly learning better costuming - I'm not new to either sewing or Italian Renaissance costuming. This year I'm excited to improve my overall presentation by creating integrated outfits with more accurate accessories, rather than stopping at just the dress.

I am inspired by these ladies in the garden, said to be by Bonifacio Veronese called Bonifacio de' Pitati (Italian, 1487–1553) 'An Architectural Capriccio in an Ornamental Garden'.

I plan to create a camicia, dress with sleeves, partlet, headwear and girdle. From there I may continue - or change direction entirely to a second outfit.
