I have been sewing for almost 30 years, and doing Italian Renaissance for about 27. I've been trying to up my game in the past few years and get more historically accurate.

I'm going for a slightly earlier look than usual. I have a really nice carnation wool I want to make a kirtle out of, with a crosswoven linen in blue/brown as an underdress, and I have a lot of grey velvet for an overdress or ropa. I might make a pair of shoes, stockings, chopines, drawers, a new shift, a necklace set, and I found the cutest little weasels at the thrift store to make a zibellino. I'll decide as the year goes by what else I'm going to make. These are just ideas. Does a pavilion count as an accessory?
