I’ve been sewing since I was a teenager, but I only dove into the deep-end of late period Italian costuming about four years ago, slowly making the switch over from late period French garb. After getting several dresses under my belt, I finally feel comfortable entering the IRCC this year.

I’m interested most in Venetian clothing so I have taken my inspiration from the Album of Costume Studies found in the Morgan Library and Museum’s collection, in particular Folio 43 Recto of gorgeously extravagant Venetian women.
