Woman's Knitted Jacket

"Women's camiciola or knitted jacket, first quarter of seventeenth century, Florence, Museo Stibbert.

Camiciola knitted in red and gold silk, made by male professionals. This type of garment, already present in Eleonora's wardrobe, is recorded with increasing frequency in the documents of the second half of the century."
